Home Health Care for Veterans

Our greatest honor is to help those Veterans who sacrificed to protect our country’s freedom. We will work tirelessly to assure Veterans and their spouses age with grace and dignity, all in the comfort of their home. Your Military service, or that of your spouse, may have earned you no-cost in-home care. We will walk you through the entire application process with the VetAssist Program.

How to qualify for the Program:

  • SERVICE: You must have at least 90 days of active duty with an honorable discharge, and at least 1 day occuring during wartime.
  • NEEDS: You must have a medical need or disability which requires assistance with activities of daily living.
  • FINANCES: You must have limited resources available as it compares to your medical expenses.

Maximum Monthly Benefit Provided by the Program:

  • Up to $1,176 for a Surviving Spouse
  • Up to $1,830 for a Veteran
  • Up to $2,169 for a Married Couple
  • Up to $2,902 for Married Veterans

War Periods for Eligibility into the Program:

  • World War II: December 7, 1941-December 31, 1946
  • Korean War Era: June 27, 1950-January 31, 1955
  • Vietnam War Era: August 5, 1964-May 7, 1975
  • Or February 28, 1961-for veterans who served “in country” (in Vietnam) before August 5, 1964
